Sam Black - Creative 3D Graphic/Motion Designer.

Using multi-digital-media to contextualize primary exploration.

Sam Black is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer with 3 years of experience working on branding, editorial design, advertising and 3D motion graphics.

In his work, Sam Black uses 3D modelling/sculpting and texturing as the focal point to his compositions. Experiments in texturing with procedural shading, combined with simulation effects, create tactile depth and realism to his conceptual imagery and motion. 

During his Undergraduate degree at Salford University, he strengthened his branding, motion graphics, 3D and editorial design skills, as well as his dexterity in the production of graphic publication; printing, book-binding and digital communication. Whilst also developing skills in rigorous design research methodologies — resulting in innovative, well communicated and managed projects.
